Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect when you visit this site or buy from it, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written in plain English on purpose. If anything is unclear, email us and a human will answer.
Who we are
This site is operated by MMA Marketing Pro ("we," "us"), the business of Jeremy Henderson, based in Pennsylvania, USA. Contact: hello@mmamarketingpro.com.
What we collect
- When you buy. Your name, email address, billing details, and what you purchased. Payment is processed by SamCart. Card numbers are entered on SamCart's secure checkout and handled by SamCart and its payment processors; we never see or store your full card number.
- When you download or subscribe. Your email address, and the fact that you requested the book or joined the newsletter (delivered through beehiiv).
- When you contact us. Whatever you include in the email.
- Automatically. Standard server logs from our hosting provider (Cloudflare) such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, used for security and to keep the site running. Cookies and similar technologies described below.
Cookies, the Meta Pixel, and advertising measurement
We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) on this site. It sets cookies and sends Meta information about your visit, such as the pages you viewed, whether you started checkout, and whether you completed a purchase (including the amount). We use this to measure whether our advertising works and to show ads to people who are likely to be interested. Meta may also use this data according to its own Privacy Policy.
We do not run other analytics or advertising trackers on this site. SamCart's checkout and beehiiv's subscription forms may set their own cookies necessary to work; those are governed by their policies.
Your choices:
- Use the opt-out button below to stop the Meta Pixel from loading on this site in this browser.
- Adjust your Meta ad preferences, or opt out of interest-based advertising industry-wide at optout.aboutads.info (US) or youradchoices.ca (Canada).
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work; the pixel will not.
How we use your information
- To deliver what you bought and provide support for it.
- To send you the emails you signed up for, and, if you bought the book, occasional emails about related products and services from MMA Marketing Pro. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and we honor it promptly.
- To measure and improve our advertising and this site.
- To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not send you text messages from this site.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need: SamCart (checkout and payments), beehiiv (email newsletters), Cloudflare (hosting), Meta (advertising measurement, as described above), and our email provider. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. Disclosing browsing data to Meta for advertising may be considered "sharing" under California law; the opt-out below covers it.
How long we keep it
Purchase records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and guarantee purposes (generally seven years). Email subscriptions until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you. Server logs for a short rolling period.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop marketing to you. Email hello@mmamarketingpro.com and we will respond within 30 days (45 for California requests, as the law allows). We will never treat you differently for exercising these rights.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what we collect and why, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against. In the past 12 months we have collected the categories listed under "What we collect," used them for the purposes above, and shared browsing data with Meta for advertising measurement. We do not sell personal information and do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. You may use an authorized agent to make a request; we will verify it.
Canadian residents (PIPEDA/CASL): we collect and use your information with your consent, for the purposes stated here. You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
EU/UK visitors: this site is intended for the US and Canada. If you are in the EU or UK, our legal basis for processing is your consent (marketing, pixel) or performance of a contract (purchases), and you have the rights set out in the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Children
This site and its products are for business owners and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided it, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Payments are handled by SamCart on PCI-compliant infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you by email or a notice on the site.
